Krishna: The Killing of Kamsa

Vishnu sleeps, gently adrift in the milky ocean, watched over by the many hooded Adishesha himself. He is unborn, imperishable, infinite and eternal. But even in Yoga Nidra, Vishnu watches over the whole Universe. And whenever he is needed - or even called upon - he wakens, to purge the three worlds of pain and evil. To offer kindness, wisdom and protection to those who need it the most.

In these pages, you will encounter Vishnu as Krishna - perhaps the most beloved of all his ten earthly avatars. Krishna, the dark and dimpled one. Krishna, of the rough and tumble curls. Krishna with his flute, sweeter than the Koel's song. Krishna, son of two mothers. Krishna, the irreverent prankster. Krishna, the darling of Vraja. Krishna, whose maya and miracles are spoken of, to this day. Krishna the slayer of asuras.

And eventually, Krishna, the slayer of the tyrant king, Kamsa.
