Parijatham Books

Parijatham Books is a small independent publishing house named after the unearthly night jasmine. We have two verticals—Flashlight Comics and Dubki Books, each created with a distinct purpose and personality. Our book house was founded on the basis of a simple observation: children were reading less and scrolling more.

Flashlight Comics responds to this challenge with comic books and graphic novels for children and young adults that are clean, non-triggering, non-violent, and visually distinct. No two books share the same art style. Our artists get full freedom, and our scripts stay funny, clever, and vocabulary rich.

If Flashlight is the torchlight adventure that happens under blankets after bedtime, Dubki is the gentle plunge into art, imagination, and early reading joy. Dubki Books is our home for picture books, board books, illustrated classics, and short-story collections.

Across both verticals, we draw from history, mythology, literature, traditions, and beloved classics from around the world. Our goal is simple: books that spark curiosity, build wonder, and remind children that stories are still the best adventure in town.
