Before you submit your manuscript to either Dubki Books or Flashlight Comics (Parijatham Publications Pvt. Ltd.) it is necessary to read and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

What we accept

• Parijatham Publications does not accept academic submissions at the moment. These submissions will be automatically removed from our systems and you may not hear back from us.
• Parijatham Publications is happy to consider foreign language submission, provided that you also provide an English Translation. In the absence of a translation, please expressly communicate this in a cover letter or synopsis that accompanies the manuscript.

Your manuscript

• The manuscript you have submitted is your own original work and is not copied from any other work or material or any other source.
• You are the sole author of the manuscript and the sole legal and beneficial owner of all intellectual property rights and related rights in the manuscript.
• The manuscript qualifies for protection under copyright laws and other relevant intellectual property laws. The intellectual property rights and related rights in the manuscript are unencumbered and freely transferrable by you.
• The manuscript does not infringe the legal rights of any third party and does not contain seditious, defamatory, indecent, or other illegal content.
• If you are a co-author of the manuscript, then you have obtained permission from the other co-authors to submit the manuscript to Parijatham Publications and to agree to all terms and conditions on their behalf.

How we handle your submission

• Parijatham Publications may use your personal details for correspondence.
• If you submit the manuscript in hardcopy, then Parijatham Publications will not be held responsible for the loss, damage or non-return of such hard copy. If you submit the manuscript in softcopy, then Parijatham Publications shall only be required to delete such soft copy after completing its review process.
• The decision to accept or reject a manuscript rests solely with Parijatham Publications and such decision shall be final.

Our relationship

• Your legal status shall be, and shall always remain, that of an independent contractor. There is no employer-employee or principal-agent relationship, or partnership, between yourself and Parijatham Publications.
• You will maintain strict confidentiality in relation to all communications exchanged between yourself and Parijatham Publications.
• You will indemnify Parijatham Publications against all liabilities, costs, expenses, damages, and losses suffered by Parijatham Publications arising out of any breach of these terms and conditions by you.
• The relationship between you and Parijatham Publications shall be governed by Indian law. Any disputes will be exclusively decided by the courts at Palakkad, Kerala.
